PUBLIC HOCKEY SESSIONS / STICK & PUCK / POND HOCKEY
Churchill Rink offers open to the public hockey sessions including "Stick & Puck", "Pick-Up Hockey", and "Pond Hockey".
Our Public Hockey schedule is published on our LIVE SCHEDULE page. Extra sessions may be added over the course of the season due to vacation weeks, no school days, or if the ice becomes available.

Stick & Puck - $8.00
Unstructured self-improvement. Half ice or cross ice games are allowed ONLY when approved by rink staff and only rarely happen. Sessions may be restricted according to age - see below. Paying parents may participate with their children during youth sessions.
WE DO NOT RENT SKATES FOR USE AT STICK & PUCK
STICK & PUCK sessions ARE included in our season pass program.
MINIMUM EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
HELMETS MANDATORY FOR ALL & PLAYERS UNDER 18 MUST ALSO WEAR A HOCKEY FACE MASK. -

ADULT PICK-UP hockey - $12.00
Must be 18. Full ice scrimmage after participants split up into teams. No checking allowed but fast paced hockey and some incidental contact should be expected. PARTICIPATION IS CAPPED AT 20 FORWARDS AND 2 GOALIES AT PICK-UP HOCKEY - NO EXCEPTIONS. Goalies play free. Full gear is recommended but helmets, shin guards, and hockey gloves at a minimum please.
SIGN UP IN ADVANCE THE WEEK OF A PICK-UP HOCKEY SESSION IS ALLOWED AT THE RINK IN PERSON, OR, OVER THE PHONE IF YOU HAVE A CREDIT CARD ON FILE WITH US. PUTTING A CARD ON FILE MUST BE DONE IN PERSON AT THE RINK...IT CANNOT BE DONE OVER THE PHONE.

Pond Hockey - $8.00
All ages welcome but safe friendly, courteous behavior is expected of all skaters. Low key pond style activity for all ages & abilities. Pond hockey goals provided. The rink will typically be divided into 3 cross-ice ponds based on ability. NO SLAP SHOTS OR LIFTING THE PUCK. No street shoes, boots, or sleds allowed on the ice.

Public Hockey sessions are at times age group restricted. Examples of these groups are - "All Ages", "Youth" - Grade 8 & below, "High School & Older" - Grade 9 - 100 years old.
